Switching to online teaching/learning in response to the Covid-19 crisis was a challenge for HE in Europe. For many universities, transitioning to e-assessment and digital examination turned out to be one of the most complex aspects of this rapid change. In this webinar we will highlight some of the questions raised through this process (written or oral exams, proctored or non-proctored, multiple-choice or open book, equity issues etc.), but the main focus will be on the pedagogical foundation for (e-)assessment.
Could the Covid crisis be a catalyst for a permanent change in our assessment practices? Against this background, the panel will discuss some individual experiences and discuss the future of assessment in a post-Covid world.
Informazioni su "Navigating the Evolution of Myanmar Higher Education: Reflections on the 2011-2021 Timeframe”
For those of you who work with universities in Myanmar and/or are interested in the country’s higher education system.
The University of Bologna and the CHINLONE project consortium are pleased to invite you to the online seminar “Navigating the Evolution of Myanmar Higher Education: Reflections on the 2011-2021 Timeframe”, on 29 April 2021 at 15:30 CEST.
This event marks the end of CHINLONE, a three-year (2017-2020) capacity building project co- funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. Coordinated by the University of Bologna in partnership with higher education institutions from Myanmar and Europe and the Coimbra Group, this international collaborative endeavor addressed issues related to the modernization and internationalization of Myanmar's higher education system.
During the seminar, Professor Antonio Fiori, from the department of Political and Social Science at the University of Bologna, and Professor Rosalie Metro, from the College of Education at the University of Missouri-Columbia, will offer their perspectives, following their involvement in this and other projects, on the changes universities in Myanmar have been going through in the last ten years, with a special focus on how CHINLONE has supported this process. It will be also an opportunity to reflect on possible future evolutions of the country’s higher education sector.
We hope you will join us on 29 April!
